Also note: The leash law of Mercer County specifies: The owner of a dog shall not allow their dog to roam at large in Mercer County. The ordinance describes “roaming at large” as: a dog is considered at large whenever it is not on the owner’s property, property with the property owner’s express permission, or under the physical control of a physically responsible person for the dog. The owner of a dog must confine their dog on their own premises if they are without a leash. No person shall take any dog onto the streets, sidewalks or public places in Mercer County without a leash or under the person’s control.
The Quail Valley HOA does not organize yard sales. Homeowners are welcome to have a yard sale anytime they want to.
QV Estates follows the Mercer County Fireworks policy.
The ordinance prohibits locals from setting off fireworks within 500 feet of any facility in which citizens ‘live, sleep, and rest,’ such as hotels, hospitals, and homes. However, residents are allowed to set off fireworks on holidays such as New Year’s Eve and Independence Day, but within a certain period of time. The following are the hours during which fireworks can be set off:
QV Estates follows the city of Princeton times. It is typically the night of Halloween from 6pm - 8pm. For the safety of all children, non-homeowners are asked to park at the Medical Arts Center and walk in.
Fire season is each year from March 1st through May 31st and October 1st through December 31st. This means no outdoor burning permitted between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. If you need to burn outdoors during these hours, you’ll need to obtain a burning permit by calling the Main Station at 304-487-50171.
Remember to follow safety guidelines and ensure that inflammable material is cleared around the area where you plan to burn. Safety first! 🔥🚫
Each home is required to have at least 200 sq. feet of off-street parking. For the safety of all persons and vehicles, there should be no parking in the cul-de-sac.
